I graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts. In private practice since 1997 and a Professional Member of The American Massage Therapy Assocition.

My clients often ask me why I became a therapist…
At a very young age, I understood the language and the healing power of touch. From the time I was a young child, I had an empathic and intuitive nature. Raised in a family with a strong background in sports and physical education, the physiology of the body was always of great interest to me.
For many years, I have been on the receiving side of bodywork and graced by gifted therapists and teachers. I am a Hatha Yoga student of 16 years and within my practice I experience a sensitivity to energy and the physiology of how our thoughts, feelings, moods and life experiences affect our physical body on numerous levels. A practice in the healing arts was a natural evolution of life experience, interest, passion and commitment.
I honor and respect the faith and trust my clients place in me.
I take an integrative approach to bodywork. The body has a “voice” and will tell me much of what it is feeling when the conscious mind of the client sometimes cannot. I have a “tool bag” of many different modalities that I will apply to each individual according to what I intuitively sense the body needs.
At times a session may be very serene or moments of being more “interactive” as I am always willing to answer questions and share what I am "reading” in the body. Ultimately, the intention is for my client to feel balanced, peaceful and rejuvenated when they leave my table.
On a personal note...I love nature, photography, travel, music, hiking, my two Golden Retrievers, kayaking and sailing. I am currently the Board/Membership Chair for OWSA Oregon Women's Sailing Association www.owsa.net and member of ASA American Sailing Association.
